recently, the National Bureau of statistics and the State Customs released relevant data on China's ceramic tile production and export. This paper analyzes the monthly output and regional output of China's ceramic tile production, and introduces the monthly export situation, the distribution of export regions, the distribution of export trade countries and the distribution of export continents.



According to the data of the National Bureau of statistics, from January to December 2013, the total output of ceramic tiles increased by 6.54% year-on-year, and the growth rate decreased by 2.91 percentage points compared with the previous year.



Monthly output analysis




from the monthly production situation, only February showed negative growth year-on-year, and other months showed positive growth. In the second quarter, the monthly output increased month by month, but the growth rate decreased month by month. In June, the output of 943 million square meters was second only to that of November, but the growth rate was only higher than that of February. From July to September, the production showed a gentle trend, and the year-on-year growth rate of each month remained single digit. The output of 1.001 billion square meters was completed in November, the highest value in a single month of the year. In December, the output of 916 million square meters was completed, with a year-on-year increase of 13.52%, and the growth rate rose for two consecutive months.



Regional output analysis

According to the customs data, the cumulative export amount of China's ceramic tiles increased by 24.28% year-on-year from January to December 2013, and the growth rate dropped by 9.07 percentage points compared with the previous year. The cumulative export volume (tons) increased by 5.25% year-on-year, 1.32 percentage points lower than that of the previous year. The unit price of export was 419 US dollars / ton, with a year-on-year increase of 18.03%. According to the trend of the annual export volume, the monthly export volume was higher than that of 2012, and the fourth quarter showed a trend of monthly increase.



From the perspective of monthly export amount, the export growth in January was huge, with a year-on-year increase of 103.48%, which was the highest growth rate in a single month in the whole year. In February, the value of exports fell rapidly on a month on month basis, with the export volume of only US $402 million, the lowest value in a single month of the whole year, but the growth rate was still high with a year-on-year growth of 80.57%. 3. In April, the export volume increased month by month, but the year-on-year growth rate has dropped to about 30%. In May, the export volume increased month on month, but the monthly growth rate was still on a downward trend. By September, the monthly year-on-year growth rate fell to 7.09%. Distribution of export regions




from January to December 2013, China's ceramic tile exports were mainly concentrated in Guangdong Province, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 31.38%, accounting for 75.87% of China's ceramic tile exports, an increase of 4.11 percentage points compared with the previous year 。



From the perspective of year-on-year growth rate, the cumulative export volume of Guangxi, Jiangxi and Zhejiang Province in China's main export regions of ceramic tiles showed a high growth year-on-year, with a growth rate of more than 60%. The export volume of Chongqing, Jiangsu and Fujian decreased year on year.

according to the customs data, the top five trade countries of China's ceramic tile export value from January to December 2013 are Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Singapore and Thailand. Among them, the cumulative export to Malaysia increased by 121.06%, accounting for 7.28% of China's total export of ceramic tiles (the same below), Saudi Arabia increased by 6.53%, accounting for 6.2%, and the United States increased by 28.89%, accounting for 4.56%.



From January to December 2013, the proportion of trade countries in China's cumulative export value of ceramic tiles was




compared with the previous year, the export volume to Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand increased rapidly, with the cumulative year-on-year growth rates of 121.06%, 46.93% and 46.12%, respectively, and the export volume accounted for the 5th, 7th and 8th places of the previous year, respectivelyTo 1,4,5.
